Marco Sala was born in Como in 1965. In 1987 he got the full marks at the Milan "G.Verdi"
Conservatory under Cristina Carini's guide.
He improved himself later with Alexander Lonquich by attending the "Artist Master Classes"
in Verona, receiving for the following two years the merit diploma and a scholarship reserved
to the best executors.
He attanded the Trieste Trio chamber music courses
in the "Fiesole Music School", also in collaboration
with the Italian Youth Orchestra.
His solo and camera activity brought him around to play in various Italian cities
for important Concert
Associations (Cultural Center and Art - Teatro Verdi
in Trieste, Amici della Musica, Societą dei Concerti in Milan).
Since 1990 he has played in duo together with the violinist Gianluca Turconi,
and they recordings three compact-discs 1800/900
Italian music chamber
(M.E.Bossi, G.Orefice and I.Pizzetti) for the "Ducale" record house.
He also produced some radio registrations for Trieste RAI, such as
three L.v.Beethoven's sonatas and the complete R.Schumann's
sonatas for violin and piano with the violinist Lucio Degani.
In 1999 he made his debut at the Freiburg Konzerthaus in Germany
with Chopin's First Piano Concerto, a great success.
In the same year, always for "Ducale" he recorded "Ballet School",
the five compact-discs collection dedicated to classical dance.
In 2008 he published 48 pieces of his own composition dedicated
to the free dance class entitled "Music for Ballet" for edition "DoReFa" (Minusio CH).
In 2009 recorded a CD of the same publication.
He teaches piano at the "Civico Liceo Musicale" in Varese.
